Providing Emotional Support to Terror Victims

When terror hits a family, there are no remedies for healing their broken hearts. For them, life will never be the same. NAVAH was established to assure terror victims and their families that they are not alone.

How NAVAH helps :

A. Counseling Helpline
Through our counseling helpline, NAVAH's dedicated staff regularly speaks with hundreds of terror survivors throughout Israel. The daily phone calls we make offer our warm companionship and tremendous support to the people we know need it most. (NAVAH's helpline does not replace the need for professional help.)

B. Visits to Terror Victims
Over the past years, NAVAH has made hundreds of visits to terror victims recuperating in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. We continue to make frequent home visits to terror victims, even to those affected by attacks that took place years ago. We provide necessary support during their difficult times and also share their happy occasions.

C. Social Programming
NAVAH organizes special activities and events for terror victims and their families.  Our goal is to unite them and give them the opportunity to provide support and encouragement to one another through their friendship and understanding.  When terror victims are brought together, they are like members of an extended family.  Due to their difficult situations and circumstances, they relate to one another and give each other much needed empathy and emotional support.  From the feedback we have received from the terror victims themselves, we at NAVAH understand how vital these social programs are.
